ABOUT SAPPHO SLC
We are Utah's first and only place for sapphic burlesque. Built early 2024 from nothing, this initiative has grown beautifully since and we enjoy bringing our sapphic community unique experiences.

Here, we help others fall in love with their bodies through burlesque education and events with the mindset that BIPOC and all different body types and sizes should always be at the center.

Burlesque is the art of the tease, where artists make peace with their bodies and embrace their most authentic selves. Witnessing burlesque, is healing parts of you that you did not know deserved love!​

WHAT ARE BLUE LAWS?​​​
Blue laws are laws put in place in performance spaces where alcohol is present.
These laws are complex, and usually read to the audience before a burlesque event to make sure everyone's aware.

HOW CAN I PERFORM WITH SAPPHO SLC?
We host open calls and prioritize BIPOC individuals however,
be on the lookout for this on socials!

WHAT CONSENT SHOULD I KEEP IN MIND?
Just because somebody's taking off items of clothes- doesn't mean they are giving you consent or flirting with you.

IS TIPPING NECESSARY?
No, tipping is encouraged but never necessary!

Luna Sol
The dreamer behind Sappho SLC, born in Venezuela.
​
Luna is a latine burlesque performer who after falling in love with lesbian night life in NYC, felt it was necessary to bring that energy to Utah after her move here.
​
Luna spends a lot of her time event planning, coordinating and educating upcoming performers.
Rosa Rica
Rosa is the co-host of your dreams and Utah based award winning burlesque performer.

Rosa never fails to bring her Mexican culture, sense of humor and authenticity to every Sappho SLC production.
